Lions: Highway Cleanup Report

15 Lions filled 27 bags of trash plus big piles of junk this morning. As usual the spring cleanup was much larger than the fall cleanup. Thanks to all who helped, and a special thanks to the new folks who joined us. Thanks - Lion highway cleanup co-chairs Leah and Chuck

Plus Pat picked up 8 ticks at one time and Andy got 6. I only got 1 - Adam Cathers

It would have been better if the photo"r shifted little to right. Cathers: your blood must not be sweet. Dracula will not be coming to your house.

Delivering Lions of Love

Current and future Lions delivered another batch of cheerful Lions of Love to the Goodwill Fire Steam Fire Engine Company in Pottstown. The Lions ride in the ambulances that are dispatched from the Goodwill Fire Steam Fire Engine Company and are given to young children that are involved in traumatic events throughout the area.

EC Cubs Write to Army Rangers

Tuesday April 12th 2016 3:03 - 4:15pm - Attendees (14)  Today the cubs decided to write thank you/congratulations letters to the Army Rangers.  One of our frequent beloved substitutes has a son who just graduated from his Ranger training.  The cubs, who hear all about him and his fellow Rangers, decided that they would congratulate them for their amazing accomplishments and thank him and his fellow Rangers for their volunteerism and bravery.

Leos, Lions and "In Ian's Boots"

For the second year in a row the Middle School Leo Club joined the Coventry Lions Club in a joint project  at In Ian’s Boots.

Leo advisor Kira Rumpp (top, second from right) had several members of her club join half a dozen of Lions in a project at the newly relocated "In Ian's Boots' Shoe Box".

MS Leos Shatter Pennies for Patients Goal

Pennies for Patients Goal Shattered

The Middle School Leos set a $1,000 Pennies for Patients goal this year. The group actually raised $1,417.43! Since 1994, pennies and other spare change have added up to millions to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

On March 29th the Leo Club will be teaming with the Coventry Lions Club at In Ian's Boots, which provides shoes and boots to those in need.
